Take the “Panamericana” highway 1 North to San Ramon and Puntarenas. You will drive right in front of the International airport and the exit on your right to Alajuela downtown. Keep your way on the highway north until the first main exit on your right that shows a sign saying: “Atenas, Orotina , Jaco, Quepos”. Take this exit and turn to your left immediately at the stop (Alto in spanish) sign.
Drive over the highway and continue to Atenas, San Mateo and then Orotina. Once in Orotina follow the signs to Jaco. You can stop at the Tarcoles Bridge to see the crocodiles in the wild. Continue south and you will find the Carara National Park, a beautiful place to explore Costa Rica´s nature. Continue this road and follow the signs until you reach the Jaco Beach first access road.
